For there not being any jobs, I’m sure seeing a lot of help
wanted signs around. Granted some of
these jobs may not be very good paying jobs, or they may be only part-time;
however, some pay check, is better than no paycheck. Moreover, it’s common nowadays for an
employee to start off as part-time, get test driven, and then get picked up
full-time. Coming from somebody who has
worked 3 part-time jobs in addition to a full time job, I feel little sympathy
for those sitting around waiting for a giant check with balloons to come to
their house; it’s not going to happen…
I just think a good percentage of Americans have lost the
will to do what they have to do (working multiple jobs etc.) and would rather
accept a hand out, rather than a hand up.
People need to take a good look in the mirror, and be realistic about
what they are worth. NEWS FLASH, you’re
not getting a job paying $25 an hour with no experience, and a HS Diploma. You will need to start at the bottom, prove
your worth to the company, and then you will make more money; that’s how it
works.
For all you jokers that claim disability, because you get
headaches and anxiety, guess what? I saw
a one legged guy leaning on a crutch running a cash register, so tell me again
about what you CAN’T do!
