So today I get a letter in the mail from Discover Card telling me that they are lowering my credit limit. They lowered the limit near the actual balance, which gives the impression that the card is maxed out to any potential lender. They did this on the premise that my credit score is a little lower, as of late, as a result of inquiries etc. NO SHIT ASSHOLES I WAS BUYING A NEW CAR! Oh and P.S. who the fuck told them they could run my credit...
Now, keep in mind I have been a customer of Discover for 7 years, have NEVER missed a payment, or been late. In fact I have never missed a payment on anything. I'm 100% current on everything, and plan to keep it that way. What I want to know is what kind of cartoon world do we live in, where they can treat customers like this? What was going through this heroes mind when he decided, "Here is a guy who never misses a payment, and seems really responsible, let's bend him over, that would be a really good business practice!"
I immediately cancelled my account with those jokers.
What I don't understand, is why those of us who have been paying our bills religiously, throughout this entire economic crisis, can't get a lower interest rate on shit; however, stop paying your bills and you get a lower mortgage payment and half your credit card bills go away. So much for doing the right thing; I guess I'll go fuck myself...

Campaigns
It’s funny listening to these politicians talk about
campaign strategy. How about being real,
instead of talking about the same shit over and over again… Then not doing a
damn thing once you’re elected. We have
politicians writing legislation to tell us what kind of light bulbs you can use;
meanwhile, nobody can tell us if Social Security will be around in the next 10
years…
